Selling your Caravan? In Queensland when selling a Caravan, it is a requirement to obtain a Caravan Gas Certificate and Safety Certificate (Roadworthy Certificate)

IF the trailer or Caravan is not currently registered or has been registered in another state you will ALSO need a HVRAS Inspection along with the abovementioned Gas Certificate and Safety (Roadworthy Certificate)

A Gas Certificate is only valid for 3 months and can only be used with the Queensland Department of Transport as a one-use document.

For your caravan to pass the Gas Safety Inspection it must comply with the Australian Standards AS/NZ5601.2.20

Please note: Any extra work that is carried out / parts supplied to make the Caravan/ Trailer compliant to pass the inspection is not included in the inspection fee.
